What is the Financial Responsibility Agreement (FRA)?

At the time of registration for any semester or term, every student is required to accept the terms of the Texas A&M University-Commerce (TAMUC) Financial Responsibility Agreement.

What will happen if I do not accept the FRA?

The class registration application will not let you register for classes.

Where can I find the FRA on myLeo?

If it has not already been accepted, you will be prompted to accept the FRA on the home page of myLeo after sign in, or after clicking on the “Registration Menu” link on the Student Resources tab of the myLeo application, in the Student Information System (SIS) Resources For Students section.

Why might I not see the FRA popup acceptance window on myLeo?

In order to see the FRA popup acceptance window, you must sign in with your student CWID account.  Some student workers may also have a “LastnameFirstname” formatted AD account, which will NOT show the acceptance popup message if the student signs in with that ID.

I accepted the FRA, why am I still not able to register?

The FRA registration hold is only one type of registration hold.  There are many others.

Some common holds and how to start the removal process:

Financial Services holds for outstanding charges or other financial reasons – Contact the Financial Aid Office at the email FAO.web@tamuc.edu, or University cashiers may remove financial holds if paid in full.

State Drop Limit hold - You should be able to contact the Registrar's office at the email REGOFC@tamuc.edu to start getting this removed.

CBE or Advisor Hold – Contact your academic advisor to start the hold removal process.

For any other holds, please contact the Registrar’s office at the email REGOFC@tamuc.edu to inquire on how the registration hold can be removed.

I do not see any way to accept the FRA, how do I accept it?

You will need to scroll down to the bottom of the agreement to see the “agreement checkbox” that you need to click on to check,  and the Continue button that you also need to click on to record your acceptance of the agreement.  There are usually two scroll bars on the right side of the page; the inner one should scroll the agreement text.

Why does nothing happen when I click on the Continue button?

Please make sure that you have clicked on the checkbox next to “Check this box to indicate that you have read and understood … “, and then try clicking on the Continue button again.

I am getting an error message that the hold could not be removed, what should I do?

Please wait a reasonable period of time and try again.  Any current issues with Banner/SIS or other systems could cause the hold to not be removable at a given time.  If the problem persists, please contact the CITE Help desk at the HelpDesk@tamuc.edu email address with details of the issue you are seeing and please include your CWID in the email.

What if I have other questions?

Please contact the CITE Help desk at the HelpDesk@tamuc.edu email address with any other questions and please include your CWID in the email.
